BEFORE WAXING 

Prior to each application it is crucial to complete a patch test. Following the instructions below, apply the bikini wax strip to a small area to be  waxed. Remove the strip and wait 24 hours to ensure no irritation develops.  Slight reddening is normal and will disappear in a few hours. In extreme cases of skin irritation, discontinue use. If no reaction occurs, proceed with  application. Those with sensitive skin or who are prone to pigmentation  should be especially cautious when waxing. 

STEP ONE 

Make sure that unwanted hair is at least 3-4mm long so the wax can grip effectively. If your hair is long, trim to about 5mm. 

STEP TWO 

Ensure area to be treated is clean, dry, and free from oils and lotions. In humid conditions apply talc powder to the area to be waxed. 

STEP THREE 

Warm the strip by rubbing it between your hands for 20-30 seconds. When warmed properly the strip will separate easily, leaving an even  deposit of wax on each strip. It is unnecessary to warm the strips in very hot climates. If the room is extremely hot, place the strips in the refrigerator  for a few minutes before use. 

STEP FOUR  

Slowly separate the double strip. Place one strip aside, wax side up, for later use. Any open strips left after your waxing session is complete can be folded in half for later use. 

STEP FIVE 

Firmly smooth the strip onto the area to be waxed in the same direction as your hair growth. Press the strip down onto the skin and quickly rub it  very firmly numerous times (±10 motions). 

STEP SIX 

Hold the skin tight with one hand, to prevent any movement of the skin  when the strip is removed. Grip the bottom of the wax strip with the other  hand and immediately pull back the strip in the opposite direction to hair growth. The faster this is done, the more effective the result. 

STEP SEVEN 

When pulling back the strip it is crucial that it is pulled directly back and  parallel to the skin, not upward. Pulling upward may result in bruising or ineffective removal. 

STEP EIGHT 

If a few stubborn hairs are not removed on first application, use tweezers to remove them. 

STEP NINE 

If small amounts of wax remain on the skin, they can be removed by wiping the area with baby oil, or by re-applying the same strip in the  normal way and pulling it o  in the same direction it was applied. Never use water or alcohol to remove wax residue. 

STEP TEN 

Always store strips in their box, flat, away from UV exposure and in a cool place.
